West Farleigh

Sixteen of us managed to get up early on New Years Day for a 6.5 mile walk, much of which was along the banks of the River Medway. The rain held off until after lunch but we dried off in the Good Intent pub afterwards.

Crown Point, Seal

Twenty one women enjoyed a 6.5 mile walk on a chilly but bright day. The route was through some lovely Kentish woodland and countryside taking in Stone Street, Godden Green and One Tree Hill.

Afterwards several of us had lunch at the Crown Point Inn.

Wye

A strenuous 8.5 mile walk through Wye and Crundale Downs on a freezing February day. There was a light dusting of snow on the ground but 14 women ventured out to celebrate the group’s 8th birthday.

There were fabulous views from the Downs above the Devil’s Kneading Trough.
